Stefffen Schulte is a Canadian by birth and has lived in many places around the world. He is married to Wendy and together have two girls. Since 2009, Steffen has been a lecturer at Rhineland School of Theology near Cologne in Germany. In 2015 he was appointed Rector. Steffen received his theological education in Bonn, Germany and Cape Town, South Africa, and completed an M.A. with a focus on missions and evangelism at Regent College in Vancouver, Canada. In 2018 he completed his doctorate at the University of South Africa. His research focused on the internet as a mission field. After studying theology, Steffen served as a pastor in Eastern Canada, and from 2010-2019 he was a pastor in an Evangelical Free Church congregation. In 2022 he was also appointed as an Associate Professor at Kairos University in Sious Falls, SD. In the same year Steffen was elected President of the European Council of Theologica Education, through which he also has the pleasure of serving on the ICETE Board.
