Rev. Anthony Oliver, Ph.D.

Full Bio

Dr. Anthony Oliver is a national of Trinidad and Tobago and a Caribbean Man.  He was born in Maracas Valley but grew up in Woodbrook and spent a considerable part of his adult life in Jamaica where he served as Academic Dean and Principal of Jamaica Bible College in Mandeville, and later as Academic Dean and Acting President of the Caribbean Graduate School of Theology (CGST) in Kingston. From July 2012 – December 2014, he was Dean of Academic Affairs at the Caribbean Nazarene College.  He is the President of Caribbean Evangelical Theological Association (CETA) and serve as Adjunct Professor at three (3) theological institutions in the Caribbean.  In addition, he serves as an assessor for the University Council of Jamaica, the government appointed accreditation agency in Jamaica.

He earned a Diploma in Theology from the West Indies School of Theology (WIST), a Bachelor of Theology from the Jamaica Theological Seminary, a Master of Arts from Caribbean graduate School of Theology, and a Ph.D. from Trinity International University in Deerfield, Illionis, U.S.A.

He is a motivational speaker who has represented various organizations and churches internationally and was the pastor of the Westside Community Church in Westmoorings for ten (10) years.  Rev. Dr. Oliver is married and has two adult sons.
