Paul Branch

Full Bio

Paul Branch is missionary and ordained Teaching Elder of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church and holds degrees from Columbia International University (B.A. Intercultural Studies) and the Central American Theological Seminary (Th.M., Biblical Exegesis; Ph.D Theological Education). As part of the International Theological Education Network of his denomination, Paul serves as a theological education specialist.

After eight years of pastoral and theological education ministry in Argentina, Paul, his wife Elizabeth and their two children moved to Guatemala where he joined the faculty of the Central American Theological Seminary (SETECA). Since 2011, Paul has taught theology and theological education at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

From 2013 to 2015, Paul served as Academic Dean of the SETECA and currently serves as President (2021-).
Since 2016, Paul has served as General Secretary of the Latin American Association of Evangelical Theological Education (AETAL). As an extension of the ministry of AETAL, Paul serves as facilitator and curriculum consultant for the Latin American GATE program (Global Associates for Transformational Education) and board member of the International Council for Evangelical Theological Education (ICETE).
