Kevin E. Lawson has served in theological education for over thirty years, teaching in undergraduate and graduate programs in the field of Christian education. He has taught in Talbot School of Theology’s PhD and EdD programs since 1995, serving as the Director of those programs from 1999-2017. He also served as editor of the Christian Education Journal from 2003-2021. Though semi-retired, he continues to teach as a Global Affiliate Professor of Educational Studies at Talbot and serves the larger theological education community as a consultant and trainer in the area of doctoral education programs and doctoral faculty development. He and his wife, Patty, live in Biddeford, Maine, USA, and have three grown children. Kevin serves as Director of ICETE Consulting and co-chairs the Doctoral Initiative Steering Committee for ICETE.
