Fritz Deininger

Fritz Deininger (Th. D. in New Testament, University of South Africa, Th.M. New Testament Theology, M.A. in Missiology Columbia International University, B.A. Theological Seminary Chrischona, Switzerland). He has been married to Marianne from Switzerland since 1973. They have two children and two grandchildren and reside in Germany.

He gained pastoral experience in Germany (1973-1979) and was involved in church planting and leadership training in south Thailand (1981-1994) bevor moving into theological education at Bangkok Bible Seminary (BBS) from 1995 to 2008 where he taught courses at the undergraduate and graduate level. Teaching experience included also courses in Myanmar, India, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Switzerland, and Germany. While serving as the academic dean of the graduate department at BBS he collaborated with ICETE in organizing conferences, coordinating training seminars for academic leaders in theological education in Asia, Eastern Europe, Afrika, Caribbean, and Latin America (2005 to 2019). He also served with Orbelina Eguizabal as editor and author for the ICETE series on Leadership in Theological Education which have also been translated into French, Portuguese, and Spanish. As Senior Advisor he is willing to contribute to ICETE and theological education according to the opportunities.
