The International Alliance for Christian Education will host its first-ever conference on Evangelism, Discipleship and Apologetics September 20-22 at the Riley Conference Center on the campus of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
A tentative schedule for the event features prestigious speakers such as Robert Sloan, president, Houston Christian University; Ed Stetzer, dean, Talbot School of Theology; Matt Queen, interim provost, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary; Travis Dickinson, professor of philosophy, Dallas Baptist University; Robert Smith, professor of Christian preaching, Beeson Divinity School; and Hal Poe, Charles Colson Chair of Faith and Culture, Union University.
“In addition to the superb lineup of plenary speakers, there will be a number of practical workshop sessions for attendees,” IACE president David S. Dockery said. “We are trusting that the Lord will use this conference to bring about a renewed commitment to faithful evangelism and serious discipleship by this generation of Christian college students.
